Guest Illustrator #01: Fernando Queiroz
Fernando Queiroz, most often called Nando, has been playing around with this new character of his.
Humama, a play on words and mixture of human and mama (boob in portuguese), is a free, floating, sensual-to-all character, as Nando describes it.
This character was born when studying and doodling the human figure. Movements, positions, even adding a little personality to each pose helps reach another.
Nando’s illustration has also become a victim of my After Effects animation experiments posted on instagram:

Guest illustrator: @pro.crastinando presents us his "humama", or several in this case. Screen printing and riso are always such a hassle (that I love) to line all the layers/colours up. Aligning the second layer to the first looks pretty much like this. It's a matching game. OR.... You can just lean in to the overlapping and create a 3rd colour. If you can, I'd say don't align anything up! Let the overlayed colours show us that beautiful effect! #guestillustrator #zine #zinemaking #overlay #print #printmaking #chimpan #peopleofprint #printspotters #printisntdead #passionproject #serigrafia #chimpanzine #issue1
